Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) is a relatively new technology that refers to the ability to use an ethernet cable to transmit network data and electrical power to connected devices. LED technology has not only advanced architectural lighting design, it has reduced our energy consumption as well as created new ways to illuminate the built environment. PoE challenges today's conventional electrical systems by devising a new single wiring system to power and control lighting, and exchange light fixture data by way of ethernet connection. PoE will dramatically change how lighting fixtures are powered.

Cheyo Rogers, Igor's Business Development Manager, Northeast will join panel of experts will explore the A to Z of PoE and the benefits and possibilities for lighting, engineering, and architecture professionals. The panel will discuss the innovation of PoE within lighting infrastructures and within the Internet of Things (IoT) platform.
