Igor Plans to Double Staff in 2017

January 1, 2017

Igor, Inc. will ramp up hiring to support growing demand for Igor Connected Lighting Software System

Recently, Igor welcomed three new employees to the team. This is the beginning of Igor’s next phase of hiring and expansion as the company continues to find success in developing partnerships with lighting manufacturers and resellers for its Version 5 commercial product. CEO Steve L’Heureux confirmed that this will be the first hire for a planned doubling of staff over the next 12 months. “We have been rapidly adding new clients since starting to ship our Version 5 solution late this past summer,” L’Heureux explained. With 20 systems already installed since the product’s release in August and product demand rapidly driving Igor’s sales pipeline to eight-figures, Igor has launched its global expansion ahead of schedule with systems already installed in India, Australia and the United Kingdom. “Our product is the complete package, our clients are excited about the product, and now we need the team to expand to reflect the growing demand,” said Dwight Stewart, CTO and Founder of Igor, “This is a pivotal time in our company’s trajectory and it’s critical for us to find the right people, like Brad and Sean, to join our team.”   The newest hires include, Brad Steen in the Support Services group, Sean Goodwin as a Software Developer, and a soon-to-be-announced new Director of Business Development. In addition to the newly filled positions, Igor has an immediate need to hire a Senior Software Developer and an Embedded Engineer early this year.
